Important Notes, Policies, & Terms

Pricing Philosophy
Rates reflect risk and liability per product category, audited annually by our professional liability insurer.
Production Days
$600/day for continuous on-site oversight. IBC Special Inspection requirements determine which products need this.
Required Services
Backfills, Slab Patch/Repair, and WallSeal are mandated for compliance — marked required in the tables above.
Emergency / Rush
Any visit booked less than 24 hours before its start time, follow-up visits included, adds a $600 rush fee.
Cancellations & Access
Cancel or reschedule by 2:00 PM the prior business day at no charge. Late cancel: $600. If we arrive and cannot inspect (no crew, no access, work not ready), the full scheduled visit fee applies, $600 minimum. Work covered before arrival is inspected as post-production.
Post-Production
2× service inspection rates, including quantity tiers and size adders, and 2× production days (PE Certification and admin fees excluded).
PE Certification
$225 per certification package issued, flat. Not subject to the post-production multiplier.
Return Visits
$350 per added trip when the crew is not finished, the work is not ready, or a deficiency is re-inspected. Not charged where billed production days already cover the visit.
Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. Invoices are issued upon completion of each inspection and are payable immediately. Outstanding balances may delay scheduling of subsequent inspections or release of certification documents.
Inspection Fees Are Non-Contingent
Our fees cover the professional service of conducting the inspection itself — not the outcome. Whether the installed work passes, fails, or requires corrections and reinspection, the full inspection fee applies. A failed result reflects the same level of expertise, liability exposure, and on-site effort as a passing one. Remediation and reinspection scheduling are coordinated separately with the contracting firm.
No Direct Homeowner Contact
Our engagement is exclusively with the licensed contractor who retains our inspection services. We do not communicate with, advise, or take direction from property owners, tenants, or other third parties. All scheduling, scope questions, and deliverables are coordinated through the contracting firm. This policy preserves the independence of our inspections and protects all parties from conflicts that can arise when inspection authority, construction responsibility, and property ownership intersect.
